This project was a new build operational training centre and community safety hub for Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service. The new facility included regular personnel accommodation but also innovative mock-ups of residential and industrial buildings beneath the cover of a warehouse.

General works included the application of PPG, Kingfisher and Zinsser Allcoat paint systems via brush and roller to walls and ceilings in various colours. Metal and woodwork were finished with oil-based paints as specified and the sealing of a large concrete floor was done using Kingfisher resin applied by brush and roller. The ceilings in the high-level warehouse were finished with airless spray loaded with black Zinsser. This required various access platforms including ladder steps, scaffold towers and a scissor lift.
