Eden Manor Care Home

This was a high specification 80 bed care home including dementia area including dining rooms & reading areas/quiet lounges & even a hairdresser salon!

As always, programme was key and initially areas were available to go at but the client struggled with water ingress issues throughout which proved to be a big hurdle to overcome.

We commenced mist coating via airless spray which initially worked well as there was plenty of work to get on with. Following initial visits, we started of final decorations including wallpaper installation as the project deadline loomed. Once areas came available, we added additional resource to completion which included working additional hours as required

The project featured lots of wallpaper including digital images & colour coded doors on the dementia floor so patients can remember their room, which are all named to include local towns & villages. All areas once fully fitted out with furniture etc looked really nice & would be a great homely place to retire in

This was a very difficult project filled with logistical issues and delays, but we worked together with other trades and the client to ensure this project looked the part on completion and is a great facility and homely place to live and be cared for.
