Application methods were initial coats to ceiling & walls applied by airless spray (Masking up all the non-painted surfaces prior to spray & de-masking & disposing of all waste at the end of each shift.)
Using Story Decorating Offsite Facility, we Sprayed woodwork with initial coats to prior to fixing on site which cut down some labour time on site which helped with the tight timescales to achieve the completion dates.
Painting to Ceilings using Crown Covermatt White.
Painting to walls using Crown Clean Extreme Colours.
Painting to Woodwork, window boards, arcs/skirts/door frames/boxings/mdf facings using Crown Waterbased Satin.
Painting to concrete Floors using epoxy paints
Painting Various feature walls including setting out and masking prior to painting & de-masking on completion
Painting to Sky lounge steel columns with Sherwin Williams C137 V2 top coat
We masked up all non-painted surfaces and applied the final coats on site after the furniture was fitted, to minimise any damage by others at the end of the project and de-masked on completion.
We also supplied a small aftercare gang at the end to pick up on any remedial works caused by others outside of this.
We utilised up to 25 Decorators at the jobs peak in August to ensure the clients deadlines were met to allow the Students to occupy the building in September term, this included working long hours & weekends under difficult conditions with other trades.
