Stores Operative.

Due to continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a Stores Operative to join our award-winning family business.

Working alongside the operational team, ensuring the efficient running of the stores and to assist with material & plant deliveries to all SDG sites. This role is based in Manchester with responsibility and frequent attendance required in Carlisle.

Key duties of the role will include:

• Stock, plant and consumables control
• Maintaining/basic repairing of equipment
• PAT testing
• Ordering and issuing equipment and supplies
• Dealing with vehicles including service records
• Keep all stores and yards, a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Assisting with the spray paint facility, when required.

The job holder will be required to deliver materials/plant therefore a driving licence is essential.
